Summer of Colour 3- Week 2 - Oh deer!

Summer of Colour 3- Week 2
Orange & Hot Pink
Love this weeks colours!

So...sticking with my attempt at learning to embroider
...using the transfers in the 'Little Stitches ' book by Aneela Hoey

This is my contribution for
Orange & Hot Pink

I embroidered a cute little deer onto some vintage linen
using .....
couching, running, backstitch and straight stitches
and some French knots...
then added an assortment of Orange and Hot pink buttons.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has done with these lovely colours and next weeks Colour prompt..

  18. I really admire that you have taken this challenge on, not only to make lovely SOC art, but also embroidery. Very creative, too. Equally as cute as Week 1's angel and dragonfly. Love this series.
