D is for Dolly Dancer.....

Hello,
....been a little busy here with holidays, family weddings and life in general,
so, SORRY.... if I've not been visiting your lovely blogs as regularly as I would like!
...and I just couldn't miss a week of
The Craft Barn's
Alpha Challenge.
-oOo-
Letter D

....is this weeks 16th letter of the
Alpha challenge
over at
The Craft Barn
I chose the word
Dancer/Dancing

from my French dictionary

I filled one of my larger
printer tray cubbies with....
My distressed dictionary text
(word and definition highlighted)

... I've added a vintage ballerina cake topper (which was originally blue, but I've painted it red)
a miniature dance shoe
backed with some gauze
and some bunting made from tissue.

-oOo-
Off to take a peek now to see what everyone else is doing with the  letter 'D'.

Thanks for peeking!

  1. This is lovely. Your little cake topper ballerina reminds me of the ones I used to love on my birthday cakes when I was a little girl! She looks stunning in red! Julie Ann xx

  13. I love what you have done with this cubby. Maybe like the others the little dancer brings back memories of birthday cakes past. But she really pops being red and out there. This little shoe is wonderful too. Just another funky addition to your tray Jan. Can't wait to see the next one.
