lacy doily
crochet doilies

brass rings
broken pearl earrings
star and heart embellies.
and I created a vine of peach and white assorted flowers
(I had peach and white bouquet on my wedding day)

Now hop over to
..for the full deets
There is a fabby shabby prize up for grabs this month
...and see what other fabulous inspiration the talented shabby girls have created for this confetti challenge...

W for Watch

Letter W this weeks Alpha challenge
over at
with an added twist this week
Use circles on your background
I chose the word
from my English and French Dictionary
I filled one of my larger printer tray cubbies this week.
Lined the back with the dictionary paper, with the word and definition showing.
Covered the background in inky circles, stamping through some sequin waste with an ink pad.(although not very clear in this pic!)
....then added more circles with round watches, cogs and gears.
Then I altered a large (circle) watch embellie blank with a wooden watch face, a vintage scrap image, dictionary paper, cog , clock pointer crown charm and hearts.
My alpha printers tray is beginning to fill up nicely now with all The Craft Barn challenges.
Here is a little sneaky peek of what it looks like so far....
...and a big Thank you for all the lovely comments you have been leaving on my alpha challenges, I appreciate each and everyone of them...Off to take a peek what everyone else is doing with 'W' ...such a inspirational and fun challenge!
Thanks for Peeking!
